Company History
Fre-Quent.co.uk is part of the Cobblers and Keys Ltd. group of companies, which commenced trading in 1998. It started with a concession called Cobblers and Keys within Buy Right superstore Calais Street in Hadleigh Suffolk. This unit provides a shoe repair, key cutting, engraving and trophy service.
Within two years the company had expanded to 3 shops to comprise of one in Ipswich and another in Sudbury. Our Ipswich and Hadleigh branches continue to trade as Cobblers and Keys limited providing the essential shoe repair, key cutting, dry cleaning and engraving services.
The Sudbury shop at 40 Market Hill Sudbury Suffolk, has developed into the hub of the company. This centre at the outset provided a 24-hour police registered emergency call out locksmith service, which included the opening, fitting and supplying of hardware for all types of entry systems and the supplying and fitting of safes. This shop also now possesses intricate computer enabled engravers, and sign making equipment giving us the ability to supply bespoke, personalised and corporate gifts and awards. These engravers can also do the more complicated control panels for industrial machinery. The shop also makes available everyday key cutting and high quality shoe repair services.
The Sudbury branch now trades under the name of Fre-Quent.co.uk as the services have developed to provide a large internet site where Trophies, awards engravable gifts, wedding favours can be chosen and ordered on line.
Wedding gifts:
We supply all the wedding favours and gifts for bestman, bridesmaids, groom and all a bride could possibly want. These include Cake knives, champagne flutes and goblets, tankards, cufflinks, jewellery and ornaments; we supply engraving on glass, silver plate or stainless steel and pewter. We will even give you the opportunity to choose fonts and pictures to make it more personal. We will give you the opportunity to buy a star from the universe, a message in a bottle, or your own newspaper headline e.g. ‘top footballer of the month’ with your photo and whatever story anecdote you want.
Locksmith Services:
In addition to the above, locksmith services enquiries can be made and appointments booked, identify your key, lock or safe from our site or links pages. Our suppliers range is Chubb, Yale, Era, Garrison, Henderson, Squire, Tri-circle, Cisa, Abbus, Union. Or the type of lock Mortice, Cylinder, padlock, staple and harsp, church keys which we cut by hand.
Our Hadleigh and Ipswich branches are able to provide all the services from our Sudbury branch, and a while you wait or while you shop shoe repair service to individual shoppers, and local traders extensively use our key cutting services. The Ipswich branch within Morrisons Superstore, on the Sproughton Road Boss Hall Industrial Estate also provides a Dry cleaning service.
